Clay allows a different dimension that I am not able to achieve in my photography. I enjoy working with the inspiration I find from the study of the human physique, although this is often translated into various forms where the connection is tenuous at best. I use a variety of finishing techniques, including glazes and washes fired to cone 6 (electric) to primitive firings and raku.
This gallery includes some bits and pieces that are a bit more crafty, but made from clay, not just “proper” art.
