I hope this post finds you happily creating or enjoying the changing colours of the cool crisp Thursday this is or in some other nice way of being. I want to let you know about some upcoming knitting classes I’ll be teaching at the Vernon Community Arts Centre in the next little while. If you’re interested, contact the Arts Centre to register. A heads up: they need AT LEAST a week’s notice for enrollments as that’s when they decide if we have enough to run the class.
Knotty Knits (7 classes) Wednesdays, Nov 2 – Dec 14, 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Don’t get your knickers in a knot! Skip the frustration and sign up. You’ll learn all the basic stitches to get started with needles and yarn. Discover how to decipher those cryptic knitting patterns, too! Projects will be decided in class and you’ll be knitting on your own in no time. Get in touch with your feminiknitty (or masculinknitty)! Knotty Knits is now 7 sessions long by popular demand.

In January there will be more classes, but I’ll post them later, as they’re not officially released yet. You can expect to see Stark Raving Knitters which is my intermediate class and Knitty Clinic: Socks for the Way You Walk which is just that. I try to make all my classes fun and though each class has some material that I always cover (my non-negotiables) I also include some time to work on specific questions or interests from students. I hope you’ll sign up with a friend and we can get to know each other.
